  1. Download the latest version of CF-Autoroot for your device from this link > Download ChainFire-AutoRoot and save it to your desktop.
  2. Extract the zip file on your desktop.
  3. Run the extracted file by clicking on ‘’Run as administrator’’.
  4. Download and install ODIN from this link > Download ODIN. Make sure it’s the latest version of it.
  5. Run ODIN application tool.
  6. Click on the PDA button in odin and choose the ‘’.tar.md5’’ file which will be located in the CF-autoroot folder.
  7. Turn off your phone.
  8. Reboot your phone in recovery / fastboot mode by clicking and holding the Power, volume down and home buttons together.
  9. Tap the volume up button to continue.
  10. Connect you Samsung galaxy s5 using an original cable as it should not disconnect the link in between the Pc and Phone, which will result in a bricked device.
  11. Make sure RE-PARTITION is not checked in ODIN.
  12. Click the Start button and wait for it to restart and flash.
